Finished plant painting at home

Somehow this painting reminds me of the portrait paintings you have done recently. The way you were able to paint the twisting green leaves is great! They feel like they have been "seen" - in other words some subject require really paying attention to the abstract forms and forgetting that they are leaves and noses and petals etc. The purple background is as much a subject as the flowers themselves :) !
