Class Description: Spring/Summer 2026
Not your typical Painting Class
-
What we learn:
Fundamentals of materials
How to look at and talk about art.
Historical context with a focus on the history of avant-guard practices.

What do you need for the class:
Demonstrations are in Acrylic but all mediums are welcome (Such as oil, gauche and watercolor).

How is the class taught:
-
2 cameras to teach the class on Zoom.
One is used for the slide shows and the talks and another is focused on my palette and painting demonstrations.
-
Each week the students send pictures of the works they have made and the teacher presents all this work as a slide show for sharing, discussion and questions.
-
Class is supported by youtube videos of demonstrations, instagram page and community forum.
-
PDF of some slideshows and some recordings of class are provided.
-
There is often a visiting artist in each session.
We will learn together and surprise ourselves with art.
